The External Cooperation & Marketing Department(ECMD)  has three major functions,namely:

1.to  provide support for local SMEs, so as to enhance their competitiveness;

2.to promote technological interchange and cooperation between Macao and other regions;

3.to foster technological innovation and science popularization through seminars, exhibitions and visits,etc.
