Theme 【Green Fashion】

Environmental protection and sustainability issues have been emphasized in recent years. The government implements plastic bags charging scheme, promoting green commuting and organize recycling activities. Many brands and design masters in the fashion industry introduce the concept of low-carbon environmental protection into fashion design, to become a world language, and clothing reflects your personality “you are what you wear”.

Contestant & Qualifcation

Student Category

Contestants must be aged between 14 to 18 as born in between 2002 to 2006, holder of valid Macau ID card, and who are current students of day or night school.

Open Category

Contestants must be aged 19 as born in 2001 or before, and holder of valid Macau ID card.

Contest Requirement

1. Each piece of entry must be originally created by the participant. The entry must have never been published and must not be involved in any infringement of intellectual property rights or other legal dispute.

2. The painting medium of the entry is unrestricted. eg. Gouache, marker pen, paper-cut, crayon, watercolor and PHOTOSHOP, etc. If it is a computer illustration, please submit together with a computer file in jpeg or ai format.

3. Size of the entry must be A3 size (297mm x 420mm).

4. Entry should be mounted on a black cardboard of at least 250 gsm and the dimension of the black cardboard should be 380mm x 520mm.(As shown in the figure)

5. Participants must consider the particularity and wearability of the piece of work.

6. The submitted entry must be flat and without creases. If the entry is submitted by mail, sending by mailing tube is not accepted. Entries not conforming to dimension and mounting requirements will not be judged.

Note: The cash award must be collected by a guardian if the winner is under 18 years old

Terms & Condition

Participants must hold valid Macau ID card.
Participants can fill in the personal information and the theme for each entry by using online enrollment. (website: https://events.cpttm.org.mo)
CPTTM will hold a “Fashion Sketching Techniques Workshop” at The House of Apparel Technology on 24^th May 2020 (2:30-4:30PM). People interested in participating can enroll by browsing https://events.cpttm.org.mo.
Please submit or mail the entry with application form to CPTTM – The House of Apparel Technology before 9:00PM on 17^th June 2020.(Address: Rua dos Pescadores, Edf. Industrial Ocean, Fase II, 10^o Andar, Macau)

Each participant can submit unlimited number of entries. However, each of the entry can only be created by one author. Each participant can obtain a maximum of two awards, and the Gold, Silver and Bronze Award winner may not be the same participant.
Theme of entry, name of author, gender, category, place of work/ school, contact phone number, and e-mail address, should be clearly written on the back of each entry.
Awarded entries shall be kept by the organizer. The organizer has the rights to promote, exhibit and make it as souvenir purpose at its own discretion.
Please go to The House of Apparel Technology to collect the entries within 30 days after the exhibition ends. Or those who do not come to take the entries, CPTTM will settle them without further notice.
Participants can indicate on the entry form if commemorative certificate is required.
Participants shall not put additional decorative items on their entries to enhance their visiual effect.

Judging Process

Judging Panel: The Judging Panel will consist of 5-7 fashion designers, illustration experts, and artists

Schedule

Submit the entries to CPTTM——————by the day ~ 17^th June, 2020(before 9:00 PM)

Awarding ceremony——————————24^th July, 2020 (Venue to be confirmed)

Art Work Exhibition——————————24^th July, 2020~2^nd August,2020 (Venue to be confirmed)
