Many young married-to-be pursue for a fashionable and customized wedding, stirring up the development of specialized wedding clothes design and tailoring. Wedding dress is an important part in wedding reception. Each bride has her own expectation in her wedding dress style. Some prefer fairy tale princess dress; some prefer gowns that make them look elegant.
In order to show the public the local exquisite craftsmanship in wedding dress design, the Macao Fashion Gallery will invite four outstanding female designers from Macao to present an eye-catching “The Flower Ripple Wedding – Exhibition of Macao Fashion Wedding Gowns and Flowers”, together with the Macau Academy of Flower Arrangement Designer.
The four wedding dress designers participating in the exhibition are Stella Tang, Dora Un, Akina Lei and Chantelle Cheang, each of them will display two fine wedding dresses made by themselves. The eight dresses in total, whether being classically gorgeous and fashionably retained, are made of silk fabric, laces and other materials to highlight the perfect body shape of women. Every hand-made wedding dress incorporates the features of the designers. With the dedication to create the best-of-all bridal clothes for the brides-to-be, those designers select the best in the process from designing, choosing materials, cutting, sewing, fitting, choosing accessories to materializing the dress, presenting a touching love story and precious meaning behind the wedding dress. To better demonstrate the pureness and beauty of the wedding dresses, four floral designers from the Macau Academy of Flower Arrangement Designer, namely Sara Iao, Howard Pang, Sio Kin Sang and Carla Chao, have designed various floral accessories for each wedding dress, bringing out the best in both the dresses and floral arts.
