A painting on one of Bataclan Theatre’s emergency doors by the famous British graffiti master Banksy was stolen, leaving the public with infinite yearning and lament. I was deeply attracted by Banksy’s black humor when I looked into each of his works out of curiosity. It inspired my attempts to break tradition, and the MaConsef 2020 spring and summer collection have therefore come into being.
The collection employs “Childlike Delight” as its concept, hoping to create a women’s collection full of joyful childhood fun. The design is inspired by the designer’s childhood memory with a hope to convey childlike innocence through the details of the design. It has incorporated animal figures, geometric figures, abstract art, etc., to create a joyful atmosphere through bright and vibrant colors.
